Amped Advanced Technology Training (Next Class October 2024)
Join our full-time 12-week immersive program for advanced technology training! This intensive program offers 40 hours per week of comprehensive instruction to prepare you for employment opportunities with Louisville-based companies with an average starting pay around $40,000.
During the program, you will receive in-depth training and a chance to obtain up to three essential certifications:
- MS-900 certification in Microsoft 365 fundamentals,
- CompTIA A+ training for software and hardware support
- CompTIA Network+ for network administration, development, and support.
Upon completion, you’ll be equipped with the skills and certifications needed to pursue a variety of roles in the IT industry, including help desk support, field tech support, operations analysts, network analysts, and more!

Requirements for the training:
- 18 years of age or older
- Pre-work must be completed prior to the start of the course
- Attend Class in Person at the Amped Innovation Center at 25th & Broadway

Eligibility Criteria:
- Our program is for Louisville residents age 18 or older who want to start a career in IT Support regardless of previous tech experience. Priority participation will be given to low-income residents from low-income zip codes in Jefferson County which especially include 40202, 40203, 40208, 40209, 40210, 40211, 40212, 40215, and 40216 as well as portions of 40213, 40218, and 40219
Once the application is filled out, the participant will be notified of whether they qualify for the program and what the next steps will be. In general, the application process includes an orientation, pre-assessments, interview, and pre-work.
Schedule:
- Students will have to attend a mandatory orientation prior to the start of the class
- This cohort training will be 12 weeks
- The next cohort class will start on October 14th, 2024
- Only 20 seats in this class
