The Amped Music Academy empowers youth to work as a team, learn how to express themselves effectively, and develop into healthy, productive members of our community and the world, all while growing creatively through writing, performing and producing music.
Technology
Workforce Training
With the support of our community partners, Amped Technology Workforce Training provides a selection of advanced technology training and employment opportunities with Louisville-based companies and corporations, removing disparities in the field of technology.
Russell Technology
Business Incubator
The Russell Technology Business Incubator provides the support small Black and Brown businesses need to launch in West Louisville and surrounding communities. The goal of our program is to create generational wealth and to narrow the wealth gap.
Innovation
Center
The Amped Innovation Center (AIC) will be the creative hub in West Louisville, a place where creativity in all its forms permeates the building. The hub will be an economic engine and a convening space for creativity, innovation, intellectual growth, and entrepreneurship.
A bright spot, a thriving community center where, as soon as you enter, positivity is palpable.
Amped is a free program that uses music and technology as a catalyst to empower youth and their families to work as a team, learn how to express themselves effectively, and develop into healthy, productive members of our community and the world.
At Amped we use music as the connecting conduit to reach our youth and to meet them where they are. To mentor and/or volunteer, please click the link below to apply.

This annual fundraising gala is hosted by Norton Healthcare Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Renee Murphy, and includes a dinner, silent auction, dancing, and celebration of the students, people, and businesses that have made a significant contribution to furthering the Amped mission.
Your support will help us continue to empower the youth in our community, support Black and Latinx businesses, and provide individuals with the technical training skills needed to thrive in the modern job market.
